Tape Options
Our standard tape is a 2.0 mil polypropylene with hot melt adhesive. Many other tapes are inventoried and available on request.
We can accommodate most print colors. If PMS Color is not specified, we will use the standard one listed below. Additionally, we offer lock printing* and flood coating.
Thickness Options: Polypropylene 1.7mil, 2.0mil, 2.6mil and 3.0mil in acrylic or hot-melt.
Standard ink colors:
Black, Reflex Blue, Process Blue, Red (#199), Green (#347), Orange
(#165), Yellow(#108), Brown (#476), Burgundy (#222), Grey (#431), All
other PMS colors available on request.
Standard tape colors: Clear, White & Tan
Additional tape colors: Red, Yellow, Orange, Green & Blue
*Lock printing (aka sandwich printing) is a printing process that is applied to the film prior the adhesive coating stage. This essentially "locks" in the print to prevent occurrence of any ink smear or rub off. It is most commonly used in for high volume print jobs that are exposed to heavy handling conditions.
