3M VHB Tapes
3M VHB 4950 Tape is a 45-mil acrylic foam tape that has some remarkable qualities. 3M VHB tapes have incredible strength, making them capable of replacing other forms of material bonding such as rivets, liquid adhesive, screws, welds or other types of mechanical fastening systems. The 3M VHB foam tape line not only seals and fastens along a complete linear axis, unlike screws or rivets which only fasten at individual points, but it bonds to form a nearly indestructible weld-like joint. It's also resistant to solvents, UV rays and moisture. VHB tape 3M brand is the most popular bonding tape made. It's strong enough to bond flat metal paneling to steel framing. With the combination of foam and acrylic, using this 3M VHB tape also provides noise dampening, shock absorption and attenuation of vibration.
Capable of being used either inside or out, this 3M VHB tape has an acrylic chemistry mix that makes it extremely durable and high-performance. It comes in 36-yard rolls with your choice of either 1/2" or 1" widths. It comes in white.
