Ideal for use in the printing and paper industries, Tesa Cloth Tape has earned the nickname "Printers' Friend." The uniquely treated cloth fabric is coated with a combination of silicone and rubber to leave it dimpled, resembling the surface of a basketball. This surface allows for excellent gripping properties and also great release capabilities. When wrapped onto rollers, the tape's special coating prevents the adherence of ink, adhesive or other coatings to rollers and drums.

Commonly known as the "Printer's Friend", tesa 4863 is an embossed, siliconized cloth designed to wrap around rollers on any style of converting machinery. The unique design guarantees a high coefficient of friction that grips the web as it passes over rollers to keep material moving. A special release coat keeps inks, coatings, or adhesives from building up on the rollers or drums.

Also known as “Printer’s Friend”, Tesa 4863 is specifically designed for roller wrapping applications. Tesa 4863 Dimpled Release Tape features a unique, basketball skin like surface, which provides excellent release properties, as well as outstanding grip capabilities.

Tesa 4863 consists of a specially treated fabric covered with a silicone rubber coating. This embossed surface is highly resistant to "sticky" substances yet provides a reliable "non-slip" effect on smooth substrates. Non-slip properties are maximized and prolonged by the embossed surface.
